Our home was originally built in 1866 by Joseph H. Lawrence, the first Clerk of the Collingwood when it was incorporated in 1858. The red and buff brick front addition was completed in 1877 by Thomas and Elizabeth Fair, prominent merchants in this pioneer community of Upper Canada. Now this restored and renovated Designated Heritage Building with its antique furnishings and vintage lighting invites you to visit and to enjoy the Victorian charm and cozy elegance from the early days of prosperity in old Collingwood.
